They use it for every single motion because it helps cover up for the fact that the show isn’t actually animated. They just pretend everyone moves really snappily.
Foamies gem tutorial!
Idk if this has been done before or not but if ur cosplaying pearl or a pmmm girl or just any gems with smooth surfaces and probably sticking it to ur body using clay or resin is just kinda dumb it’s too heavy for tape or liquid latex and even though it’ll be shinier or whatever it’s not gonna be comfortable at all and expensive to buy on etsy
Well foamies r amazing for cosplay I love them so much they’re like 70 cents for a sheet of like kinda rubbery foam like that kids craft stuff
Buy like 2 sheets of it in case u run out for like a pretty big gem but I used like less than half a sheet for both pearls and madokas gem
Anyway ur gonna get a hot glue gun and after you cut out several pieces of the foamie in the shape you want and keep making smaller versions of the shape and glue the layers together until the gem is all 3d
And then you’re gonna see how thick you want it and you should probably take off a few layers off the bottom or it’ll look too bulky
And then ur gonna get a emery board or a sandpaper block thing and sand it to make it all nice and smooth
And then paint it however u want
and then if u want it to be shiny spray that gloss finish spray paint that stuff is great
Ad then wait for the inhalants to dry for a while and then stick the gem to u with sticky tape or latex yaaaay
