this is why my school is utter shit
ok so this popular football player at our school had an injury (his collarbone which is a pretty simple fix if im right) and i was supposed to get my thyroid taken out. He went to the hospital a day before me and the school was all in tears. They wrote his jersey number on their wrists and wrote prayforcollin on everything. The principal made a video of everyone in the school yelling get well soon and sent it to him.
i had surgery and it was painful as hell and my surgery was so quiet around school. When I came back, everyone but my close friends and teachers asked me where i was and people still ask me about my scar to this very day. Collin had been back for a few days and all was well. But what happened to Savannah? What’s with that nasty scar on her neck? Who fucking cares. She doesn’t play football. What’s disgusting is that my school did hardy anything to make me feel better. The counceler kind of went “oh sweetie i hope it goes well” and some teachers gave me homework passes and stuff but…
i could’ve been easily diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Nobody knew what was going on with my thyroid but it was seriously messed up. Nobody even knew i was missing.
