people do something with combing out yarn, some do that for fursuits I think? Maybe you should look into that for more poof if you still want to try for more poof, plus you would keep with the yarn motif more. I'm just trying to help brainstorm sorry. I think it would be fine without any poof too, I don't think a notebook requires poofy hair.
